The club is a thriving social community of novice, intermediate and experienced sailors. New members of all abilities and ages are welcome. We provide a safe and fun environment in which you can enjoy just pottering on the water, racing competitively, or a mixture of both.
Every adult member is required to do three duties each season. These duties are as race officer or assistant, or as safety boat cox or crew. Attendance at work parties is also encouraged however this does not count towards duties.
Membership categories, annual subscription charges, and other fees are detailed below. Membership applications and renewals are processed using WebCollect.
The annual subscription shall cover the year from 1st March until 28th February. No member shall in any year be entitled to exercise any rights or privileges of membership until subscriptions for that year and all arrears (if any) are paid. Note that new members joining the club on or after 1 July and taking out individual or family memberships will be entitled to a 40% discount to the membership subscriptions for that year only. The full joining fee will still apply.
New members should note that their application process will be dealt with as soon as possible. We aim to respond with more information within 7 to 10 days.
Apart from membership subscriptions, there are several club-owned boats available for daily rental by club members at £10 per day per boat (£20 per day for the RS Fevas). Also, camping on the club site is permitted for members and their guests. The charge for this is £2.50 per night. Payment for boat rental and camping can be made online via WebCollect or using the card payment device in the clubhouse.
